This course explores supervision and the overseeing of work done by staff in an organization. We examine the key responsibilities and skills required to become an effective supervisor and explore a range of topics associated with leadership and management.
We study five keywords and five traits of successful supervision and break down the three supervisor core competencies. We show you how to strengthen your relationship with your subordinates. We establish the value of trust among your peers and the importance of understanding that people are motivated by different things. The course lays out the different responsibilities and principles of a supervisor and explains when delegation is required.
