My experience with the Foundations of Leadership program has been one of reengagement and relearning for me. One of the things that you tend to do as you walk away from doing everything on a day-to-day basis is that you lose that skill, you lose that knowledge and this particular program has helped me relearn and reeducate myself.

A lot of my guys are very good at what they do but at some level they need to learn some more skills and become more experienced or more capable of helping their people develop and grow. This program lays a foundational process around engaging with their team members as well as helping them be successful in their roles.

The benefits of the tools as well as the reinforcement of the programs actually helps you keep in line or keep you moving in the right direction. Going back and forth and hearing and getting the feedback from the leadership team at Nexa really helps you make sure that you’re on point and maintaining and continuing down the path that helps you grow with your team and become a better leader.

I would like to recommend the Foundations of Leadership program to others, whether you’re a first-time manager or someone who has been leading organizations like I have for over 30 years now.  It’s always good to get the reinforcements, it’s always good to learn something new and it’s always good to make sure that the things you are doing today is applicable to doing your job properly.
